Let your hair down! Do not be afraid to. Many times we are asked if wearing your hair down the day of the wedding is even an option. There are many circumstances where our brides feel like they will not look like themselves on their wedding day unless their hair is worn down. This is where my team as the professional comes into play with creating a style that is either all down, half up, or down and to the side based on dress choice, location for wedding, etc.
. There are so many variations of a down style to choose from. If you have long, gorgeous, healthy hair that you absolutely love why not show it off and celebrate it? You can still clip a tiny part up and add fresh flowers, a broach or maybe even a beautiful floral crown. When wearing your hair down it is once again all about the prep work and having a solid foundation to have a long lasting, polished down do. Lets say your hair is naturally much curlier than the look you are going for. We usually would consider getting a blow out, like a big, soft wavy blow out, the day before your big day, and then the day of the wedding adding your curls over the top of it. The reason we suggest doing it the day before, is you have to think about how much you’re asking your hair to do the day of the wedding if you planned on doing that all at once. You are basically asking your hair to be straight one moment and then putting curls with a curling iron in the next. You might not get the wearability that you’re going to want, especially for your wedding day and especially if humidity is a factor. You want it to be beautiful and last all day. Which brings us to our next topic. Our products are humidity resistant. We use Aquage hairsprays and styling products that range from light hold to ultra firm hold all giving a light appearance on the hair and containing humidity resistant ingredients.
