We believe that makeup is an art and should be expressed on every individual in a unique way. The first and most important step is foundation. Foundation should look and feel like skin. The technology and the quality of makeup and brushes throughout the years has evolved. It has become pigmented and can last for hours on end. Often times we get asked if we provide airbrush services. The answer is no. Although some makeup artists prefer it, airbrush is a much finer product, and thinner than normal foundation. Airbrush Foundation is so fine that it only works best on skin that is perfect, with little to no blemishes, scarring, acne, hyper pigmentation or texture (wrinkles). On the other hand, traditional foundation has a richer coverage, and is more pigmented. The reason why traditional makeup is recommended is because we use tools such as brushes and beauty blenders to blend the foundation into the skin. This technique fills and covers all of the blemishes, acne, and any hyper pigmentation. It allows us to have more control over the product and to be more precise with the look we are trying to achieve. This brings us to our next topic, makeup products. The makeup products we use are high quality, HD, and long lasting. Mac Cosmetics have long wearing concealers and foundations that last 15 hours or more. Mac Prep and prime setting powder lock it all in. We use waterproof mascara and eyeliner so you wont have any black running down under your eyes when moisture or humidity is in the air. Our techniques in combination with the products we use ensure that the desired look lasts throughout the event. Our makeup artists aim for a flawless, natural look that still allows the bride to look and feel like herself.
